Street Fighter III:
3rd Strike

My #1 favorite video game of all time

I discovered the beauty of 3rd Strike at Electric Avenue in Ventura, California, circa Winter 2004, literal months before the infamous Daigo moment happened.

It’s the best video game I’ve ever played. It’s a work of art. It gives me freedom of expression, as well as humility and grit, that no other game has ever given me. 3s 4 life <3

Electric Avenue, Family Fun Arcade, Denjin Arcade, Arcade Infinity, Coinz, Japan Arcade, and Don's Arcade all shaped my 3rd Strike story.

3rd Strike coaching with mio

The biggest perk

You’ll be coached with patience and respect, wherever you’re starting from. No judgment, no ego, just clear feedback and practical ways to improve.

Let’s figure out what’s holding you back and give you something useful to practice. One-on-one online sessions focused on fundamentals, your matches, and the decisions that keep coming up.

One thing at a time

Focused session

$20 / 30 min

Bring a specific question, a troublesome situation, or a short match to review. We’ll work on one priority and a drill to take away.

Room to dig in

Full session

$35 / 60 min

Review your play, work through the habits costing you rounds, and practice the corrections. Leave with clear priorities for your next sessions.

Build on your progress

Three-session pack

$90 / 3 × 60 min

Three separate one-hour sessions: establish a baseline, practice between meetings, then review what’s improving and what needs more work.

$30 per session. Save $15.

What we can work on

Spacing, anti-airs, defense, punishes, hit confirms, parry decisions, and a game plan you can actually use. Especially good for players learning Ken, Akuma, or Ryu.

How it works

Online via Discord, using match review, screen sharing, or live games when the connection works for both of us. Bring your character, a goal, and a few recent matches if you have them.

Let’s work on your game.
